Requirements

What to Build

Build a fintech-focused application that solves a real-world financial problem. Your solution may focus on areas such as:

  • AI-powered financial planning and personal finance management

  • Fraud detection, cybersecurity, and risk analysis

  • Digital payments and innovative transaction experiences

  • Financial inclusion and accessible banking

  • Smart budgeting, expense tracking, and savings

  • Blockchain-powered financial applications

  • Lending, credit assessment, and financial analytics

Your project should demonstrate a clear problem statement, a practical solution, and a working prototype. You are free to choose your technology stack and development tools.

What to Submit

Each team must submit the following:

  1. Project Name & Description: Explain your solution, the problem it addresses, and its key features.

  2. Working Prototype: Provide a functional demonstration of your application.

  3. Source Code: Include a repository link, such as GitHub, with the code needed to understand or run your project.

  4. Technology Stack: List the languages, frameworks, APIs, AI models, and tools used.

  5. Demo Video (if applicable): Include a short walkthrough demonstrating the core features and user experience.

  6. Setup Instructions: Explain how to run or test your project, including any required dependencies or configuration.

  7. Team Details: Include the names of all team members.

Judging Criteria

Projects will be evaluated based on:

  • Innovation & Originality — 25%

  • Technical Implementation — 25%

  • Real-World Impact — 20%

  • User Experience & Design — 15%

  • Presentation & Demo — 15%

Important Notes

  • Submit your project before the announced deadline.

  • Ensure that your submission is accessible to the judges.

  • Clearly acknowledge third-party tools, libraries, datasets, and APIs.

  • Do not include passwords, API keys, or other confidential credentials in public repositories.

  • Ensure that your prototype and documentation accurately represent your work.
